This is the section where fine-tuning of your server is done. It consists of many sections. Explained according to the most frequent usage level.
All
Number of accounts per page to display in “List Accounts”: Asks how many accounts you want to display on the List Accounts page. Default is 30, you can write any value you want.
Domain
Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that are not registered: Asks whether unregistered domains can be parked or added as addon domains. Should be in the closed state.
Allow Remote Domains
Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers — should remain Off as it may cause security vulnerabilities.
Max hourly emails per domain: Specifies how many emails can be sent per hour for a cPanel account. Generally this value is defined as 100.
Prevent “nobody” from sending mail: Blocks emails with an unidentified sender address. Must definitely be marked as On for blocking spam emails.
Restrict outgoing SMTP to root, exim, and mailman: Blocks mail outputs of accounts that send mail without SMTP authentication. Should be On, but may also block PHPMailer usage. Therefore, it is Off on hosting servers.
PHP
cPanel PHP max execution time: Limits how long your query will take; 900 is recommended.
cPanel PHP max POST: Limit of posted data. Default is 55M; 256M is recommended.
cPanel PHP max upload: Limit of files uploaded through browser. Default is 50M, but this limit is insufficient for SQL import through phpMyAdmin; 256M is recommended.
cPanel PHP loader: Can be selected according to the requirements of Plugins to be installed in cPanel/WHM. Generally ioncube is selected and activated.
Redirection
Redirect settings when logging in to WHM, cPanel, or Webmail interfaces.
Always redirect to SSL: If set to On, always redirects to SSL address.
Non-SSL redirect destination: Whether redirection will be to hostname or no redirection.
SSL redirect destination: How redirection should occur if https:// is used.
Require SSL: Ensures only https:// access.
Stats Programs
The section in the cPanel system where statistics software for sites is selected. Keeping Awstats stat and Webalizer stat On is recommended; Analog stat should be Off as it causes high resource usage on the server.
Stats and Logs
Extra CPUs for server load: Allows some services to be stopped according to server load status. Raising this value is recommended based on the number and power of CPUs on the server. For example, if the server load is high during cPanel automatic backup, the backup process stops and account backups are not taken. If it is important that the automatic cPanel backup is taken without interruption, setting this value to 40 is recommended.
